Emergence of DOOH advertising and its impact!


The global economic slowdown enforced several changes in various sectors which didn’t even spare media and advertising industries. The tide of uncertainty to spend in advertising industry swept for quite a long time. Business owners wanted to make sure that they are spending their money effectively on a right platform. Along with it, companies started looking at various media options which will provide maximum value for their investment. During this point of time, the new age advertisers felt the need for adopting new mediums of brand advertising. Advertisers started exploring to discover focussed and cost-effective options to reach their consumers. This hunt was put on halt when digital media was introduced as the latest medium of OOH advertising.
Also known as DOOH Advertising (Digital out of Home Advertising), the introduction of digital media added dynamism to the devised media plan of the advertisers, simultaneously offering reach amongst the media users.
